A range of premium quality mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids containing zinc-free anti-wear additives.
Bartran oils display high performance characteristics with outstanding ultra fine filterability.

 

Applications
Bartran oils are formulated for severely stressed hydraulic systems in which high levels of anti-wear performance and/or ultra fine filtration are required.
Examples include modern electro-hydraulic control valves incorporating 0.5 (nominal) micron filters.
The Bartran range is fully compatible with the elastomer materials commonly used for static and dynamic seals, such as :

Description
A range of mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids conforming to the international classification ISO Type HM and offering a wide choice of viscosities.
The properties of their solvent-refined base oils are enhanced by full additive treatment to minimize corrosion, oxidation, foaming and machinery wear.

 

Applications
Energol HLP -HM oils are formulated for highly stressed hydraulic systems where high levels of anti-wear performance are needed and meet filtration requirements of almost every hydraulic system (down to 6 micron filters). They are also suitable for other duties in which lubricants of high oxidation stability and lubrication performance are required, such as in lightly loaded gears, in some variable speed units and in bearings.

The HLP -HM range is fully compatible with the elastomers materials commonly used for static and dynamic seals, such as:

Castrol Hyspin ZZ hydraulic fluids comprise a range of high performance oils based on solvent refined paraffinic mineral oil containing non zinc anti-wear, anti-oxidant, anti-foam corrosion prevention and metal deactivator additives.

 

Application

The Castrol Hyspin ZZ range is particularly suitable for hydraulic systems using vane and piston pumps where elevated operating temperatures are encountered. The range may be of benefit where hydraulic oil leakage gives rise to an environmentally unacceptable waste water.

DESCRIPTION
Castrol HyspinTM HL-XP 32 has been developed specifically for hydrokinetic transmission units with integral reduction gears.

 

APPLICATION
Hyspin HL-XP 32 is formulated for hydrokinetic transmissions used mainly in railway locomotives. Other applications include trucks and heavy off-highway equipment incorporating this type of transmission unit. The oil is also suitable for conventional industrial gearboxes where a low viscosity oil is suitable.
This oil provides higher load carrying performance compared to conventional antiwear hydraulic fluids, together with excellent oxidation resistance, anti-corrosion and minimal foaming.
Hyspin HL-XP 32 is fully compatible with nitrile, silicone and fluropolymer seal materials.

Application

Hyspin HLP-D oils are for use primarily in machine tool hydraulic systems, gears and clutch drives and in mobile hydraulic systems used outdoors. These oils can tolerate high levels of water contamination, either from the outdoors environment or by water miscible cutting oils when used in machine tool equipment, and still provide effective lubrication. Such contamination can cause corrosion and seizure of hydraulic components. The detergent /dispersant properties of Hyspin HLP-D oils maintain the performance of hydraulic systems under these circumstances. In hydraulic cylinders operating at low speeds, Hyspin HLP-D oils prevent erratic movement and stick/slip between seals and shafts, greatly reducing seal wear. Hyspin HLP-D oils are suitable for mobile equipment where multi-disc clutches are employed, They permit higher torques to be transmitted, and maintain smooth clutch operation, short engagement times, and low rates of clutch wear. Carelube HES range is miscible with conventional mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids and products based on natural esters but, in order to maximise the performance benefits of these products - both physically and environmentally, either through draining or flushing to minimise residues of other lubricants is recommended. This range is fully compatible with the elastomer materials commonly used for static and dynamic seals, such as nitrile, silicone and fluorinated (e.g. Viton) polymers.
