Castrol Spheerol AP 2 and AP 3 are lithium-based greases incorporating solvent-refined base oils. They contain oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, which help to ensure long service life and a high level of protection for metal surfaces. The greases both provide a high degree of water-resistance.

Spheerol AP 2 and AP 3 are mainly intended for use in plain and roller bearings of all types and in all kinds of machinery under normal load conditions and within an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +120 °C.

Spheerol AP 2 and AP 3 are primarily intended for use in plain and anti-friction, ball and roller bearings besides other machinery applications. They are recommended for use under normal load conditions, within an operating temperature range of -20°C to +120°C. Due to the low viscosity used in these products, they are particularly suitable for high speed bearings.

Spheerol AP 3 is suitable for severe vibration conditions.

Castrol Spheerol AP 2 Bearing Grease Advantages:

• Corrosion inhibitor additives ensure the protection of metal surfaces extending bearing life.
• Oxidation inhibitors extend the life of the grease in high-temperature applications minimising the need for regreasing.
• Water resistance ensures good levels of protection in wet applications.

Storage:

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
