Castrol Techniclean AS 58 Hydrocarbon Solvent Cleaner
Castrol Techniclean AS 58 is a fast drying, low viscosity, chlorine-free and mild odour isoparaffin based solvent cleaner. It has good solvency power and is compatible with all metal and non-metal substrates.
Techniclean AS 58 can be used as an alternative to chlorinated solvent cleaners and high aromatic containing hydrocarbon solvent cleaners.

User Advice
May swell some rubber and plastics during long-term contact. Should not be used for cleaning live electrical equipment.
Storage
To avoid product deterioration always keep the container/drum tightly sealed. Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Prevent exposure to frost and avoid water ingress. For optimum product stability, it is preferable to store the product indoors between 5°C and 45 °C / 41°F and 113°F. For more details, please refer the product safety data sheet.
Conditions of Use
Dip and Ultrasonic Dip Tank
Components should be fully immersed in neat products. Contact time depends on soil severity.
Fully sealed Vapour Degreasing Equipment under low-pressure.
The product is suitable for use in closed hydrocarbon vapour degreasing equipment.
For safety reasons, it must not be used in open vapour degreasing systems!
Wipe Method
The product should be applied neat via hand-held spray or brush and the surface is then wiped to a clean, dry finish.
