Castrol LubeCon I/M 200 Lubricant
Castrol LubeCon I/M 200 Lubricant High Performance Chain Oil
Castrol LubeCon Series I/M-200 fluid is a heavy-duty, anti-wear lubricant designed specifically for use on conveyors, plant maintenance equipment or other devices with LubeCon automatic lubricators. This synergistic combination of lubrication equipment and premium lubricant provides positive and precise lubrication with maximum protection over a temperature range of .65°F to +600°F (see Additional information for safety instructions).
LubeCon Series I/M-200 fluid is designed to be a thin-film dry-film lubricant that first acts as a penetrator and cleaner. The highly penetrating and creeping characteristics serve to dissolve solidified grease and accumulated carbon residue. A thin film of highly stable Lubricating Solids carried to the contact points offers superior film strength in addition to the fluid lubricant. Low initial fluid viscosity allows for excellent penetration, solvency and precise lubrication. Low initial fluid viscosity allows for excellent penetration, solvency and precise lubrication.

This product, unlike a synthetic, features a dry-film characteristic in which the product utilizes a low-flash point carrier to work the anti-wear additives into the necessary wear points then flashes the carrier off for a resulting chain that appears semi-dry. Dry-film lubricants, when used correctly, help minimize residues and fire potential by only leaving behind antiwear solid additives that continue to perform within the stated operating temperature range. The correct dry-film product should be chosen for your application based on the surface temperature of the object being lubricated and the flash point of the lubricant to allow for proper penetration and safe operating conditions.
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
