Castrol Magnatec 0w-20 GF Clinging Molecules Protect From The Start
All cars, even those with the latest stop-start engine technology don’t perform at their best in traffic congestion. And congestion has dramatically increased over the past 10 years, causing engine wear and wasting fuel.
That’s why we created new Castrol MAGNATEC STOP-START, combining patented DUALOCK molecule technology with Castrol’s most efficient full synthetic base oils.
- Forms a powerful force-field of wear protection
- Dramatically reduces both warm-up1 and stop-start2 wear by 50%
- Improved Fuel Economy3
Non-stop protection from every start, even for vehicles with modern stop-start engine technology
1 Tested versus the Sequence IVA API SN wear limit.
2 Tested versus the CEC OM646LA ACEA wear limits.
3 Compared to an industry reference 15W-40 oil
Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 GF is suitable for use in automotive gasoline engines where the manufacturer recommends an API SN, ILSAC GF-5 or earlier specification 0W-20 lubricant.
Castrol MAGNATEC Stop-Start Intelligent Molecules:
– Cling to critical engine parts when the oil drains down
– Cling to your engine forming an extra layer that protects from the moment you start;
– Bond to metal surfaces to make engine parts more resistant to wear;
– Provide continuous protection for all driving conditions, styles and temperatures.
Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 GF delivers superior performance under extreme cold start-up conditions relative to thicker grade

Storage Information:
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
