Total CLEARNOX

Total Clearnox is used in the exhaust gas aftertreatment process in vehicles equipped with a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system (i.e. from Euro IV vehicles). This urea-based solution helps reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx), emissions produced by diesel engines. Clearnox is a preventive solution that keeps crystal from forming in the SCR system. Using it continuously keeps SCR systems working efficiently.

CLEARNOX® complies with the physical and chemical characteristics of the International ISO 22241-1 and DIN 70070 standards, as well as with European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) regulations, but does not meet the definition in ISO 22241-1 section 3.1 due to the presence of additives.

Storage:

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable, drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
