Castrol Antifoam S 101 is an aqueous solution of calcium acetate recommended for use in very soft water systems. It can be used in single sump machines as well as central systems.
Antifoam S 101 is recommended for use in water-based metalworking fluids to increase water hardness. It reduces unacceptable foam levels and also prevents foam from being generated.
This product should only be used upon recommendation of Castrol’s Service Representative.
The addition of 0.1% will increase water hardness by 10 dH.
Appearance = clear/hazy pH value (5 %) DIN 51 361 = 6,8 – 7,2 Density at 15 °C, kg/m³ = 1125 – 1145
To avoid product deterioration, keep the container/drum tightly sealed always. Prevent any frost and water ingress. Store it in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. It is preferable to store the product indoors always. For more details, please refer to the product safety data sheet.
