DESCRIPTION
Total Ceran XS 40 Moly is a sub-Arctic synthetic calcium sulfonate lubricant complex grease specially designed for the extreme conditions encountered in mining applications. This grease has been developed to excel with Arctic environments and extreme pressure making it the ideal choice for all load and speed & Mining applications.
Thanks to its special formula and the use of synthetic base oil, Total CERAN XS 40 Moly has excellent pumpability at very low as well as ambient temperatures along with excellent thermal stability. It regains its original texture after cooling to ambient temperature.
This lubricant offers remarkable load resistance thanks to its naturally high extreme pressure and anti-wear properties and the presence of MoS2 along with extraordinary water resistance with no significant loss of consistency is observed even with high amounts of water entering the grease.
Excellent anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties thanks to the very nature of the calcium sulfonates, also in the presence of seawater.
Total CERAN XS 40 Moly does not contain lead, or other heavy metals considered harmful to human health and the environment.
APPLICATIONS
- CERAN XS 40 Moly is a synthetic, heavy duty, extreme pressure grease containing 5% of
MoS2. - CERAN XS 40 Moly is specially designed for mining applications in arctic and sub-arctic
extreme weather environments. - CERAN XS 40 Moly is recommended for the lubrication of all load and speed
applications in extremely cold conditions. It will still withstand summer or otherwise hot
temperatures. - Always avoid contamination of the grease by dust and/or dirt when applying. Preferably use
a pneumatic pump system or cartridges.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
