Quaker Houghton Ensis M 1250

Long Term - Rust Preventive [PX4 DEF STAN 80-34/3]

DESCRIPTION

ENSIS M 1250 is a blend of mineral oil, and carefully selected performance additives which provide up to 12 months indoor protection.
ENSIS M 1250 is a premium quality rust preventive and exhibits a thin oily film, which is self-healing, resists peeling and cracking, neutralizes fingerprints and is easily removed if required.
ENSIS M 1250 is effective on ferrous and non-ferrous metal. It contains oils with a very low level of PCA, exceeding regulation expectation, and is Barium free.

APPLICATIONS

ENSIS M 1250 provides long term protection and final protection, on:

o (semi)-finished automotive and machinery components like valves, gears, camshaft, box, bearing, chains, motor, fasteners, braking system, precision components with highly finished surfaces .
o land and marine internal combustion engines and components (prior to wrapping), instruments,
o Aluminum and steel sheets in storage,
o Phosphated or blackened surfaces by filling the micro porosity.
When used for the protection of the internal surfaces of a combustion engine the product should be sprayed into the cylinder; alternatively, the engine should be run for a short period replacing the sump oil with ENSIS M 1250. It will not provide long term lubrication in a combustion engine and after storage should be drained and replaced with there commended lubricant before use.
