Castrol Optitemp 2 LN 584 LO Constant Velocity Joint Grease
Castrol Optitemp 2 LN 584 LO (previously called Olistamoly 2 LN 584 LO) is a grease for homokinetic ball joints.
Applications can be found in industry as well as in the automotive sector.
Optitemp 2 LN 584 LO is a multi-purpose, normal-temperature grease which can offer a long lubrication life as a result of its additives, particularly MoS2.

Storage:
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
The joint must be evenly filled with the grease. Ensure gaps and clearances in particular are greased as lubricant starvation can occur in the running-in phase.
The grease is generally compatible with conventional boot materials such as CR and Hytrel. Please contact your Castrol Technical Services team for further information.
