Castrol OX-165 Military Spec Synthetic Gear Oil
Castrol OX-165 Def Stan 91-71/2 is a military grade synthetic gear oil which has been approved to Def Stan 91-71/2 military specification.
For use in spiral bevel gears and in transmissions incorporating a hydraulic steering system in aircraft arrester barriers, operated over the temperature range of -40ºC/-40°F to +150ºC/+302°F. Also in fuel and lube oil centrifuges.
This material is not intended for use with conventional hypoid gears. This oil is incompatible with mineral oils and must not be used as a top-up fluid for addition to equipment containing mineral oils. This material also has deleterious effects on certain elastomers, paints and leather.

Storage:
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
