Castrol Power 1 R 40 For Highly Stressed Engines
Castrol POWER 1 R 40 is a castor-based lubricant containing specially prepared additives to prevent rapid deterioration through oxidation.
Its superior oiliness over mineral oils, imparted by the chemical structure of its components, gives it a great affinity for hot surfaces and provides excellent load-carrying properties which is an important consideration with highly stressed engines running at peak revolutions.
Recommended for highly stressed race engines running at peak revolutions. Also recommended for classic motorcycles. Where special cam shafts are fitted there may be a good case for using Castrol POWER 1 R 40 as the small areas in contact will be heavily loaded especially where double valve springs are fitted.

Storage:
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
