Castrol Techniclean OX 1 is a powerful oxygenated solvent cleaner that demonstrates good biodegradability. Its environmentally responsible formulation has no ozone depletion potential and does not support the greenhouse warming effect.

Castrol Techniclean OX 1 has been specifically developed for metal parts cleaning and degreasing. Typical soils that Castrol Techniclean OX 1 easily removes are plasticizers, sealants, rubber marks, release agents as well as also mineral oils, soluble synthetic lubricants, vegetable fats and glues.

Conditions of Use:

Techniclean OX can be used in different applications – either manually or in automated equipment:

• Soak Tank
  • Components should be fully immersed in the product in an undiluted neat form. Contact time depends on soil severity.
• Ultrasonic Tank
  • Components should be fully immersed in the product in an undiluted neat form.
• Wipe Method
  • The product should be applied neat via handheld spray or brush. The surface is then wiped to a clean, dry finish.

Recommended temperature range for use: ambient to 45°C max., to reduce the risk related to flammability

User Advice:

Use limitations: Avoid any use in a vapour degreasing system that is designed for use with chlorinated solvent.

Storage:

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings. Products should not be stored above 40°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
