Castrol Vecton is an advanced 15W-40 diesel engine oil that maximizes engine performance in the latest US, European and Japanese heavy-duty diesel engines including severe applications such as high loads and multi-trailer operations.

Castrol Vecton 15W-40 CJ-4/E9 is recommended for use in modern US, European and Japanese heavy duty diesel engines. It is also suitable for use in older vehicles.

Suitable for use where low ash oils are recommended or preferred by the engine manufacturer. It is suitable for use in most applications where diesel particulate filters (DPF), diesel particulate diffusers (DPD) or similar devices are fitted.

Before using the product, the vehicle’s maintenance guide should be checked. The product should not be stored at temperatures over 60°C. It should be kept away from sunlight, intense cold and extreme temperature fluctuations. If possible, the packaging should not be exposed to the elements. Otherwise, the drums should be laid horizontally to avoid any contamination from water and to prevent the product’s label from rubbing off.

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
